Innovative Floral Designs offers for you to hire or purchase the flowers for your big day. We will come and set your table decorations for you and ensure that everything is displayed exactly as you want it. We can cater from Southport to Tweed heads for this service. Table decorations can also be sent via post for those outside of this area.

When booking your flowers with Innovative Floral Designs, we request that you do this as early as possible to ensure that we can source the correct style of flower and colour you want if we don’t carry it in stock. So…as soon as you have your dress and colour scheme planned give us a call to arrange an appointment for residents of the Gold Coast or via phone and internet for those further afield.

A Guide to Shapes and Sizes of Wedding Bouquets:

ROUND POSY
A round posy is a perfectly round bouquet. All flowers can be used in this style. They can have ribbon covered stems or natural stems. The standard size is approxametly 25cm diameter and going to larger sizes of 30cm to 35cm.

TEARDROP BOUQUET
A teardrop bouquet is a basic round posy with a small pointed trail at the bottom. Standard size is 25cm x 35cm but can be made larger or smaller to suit.

CASCADE BOUQUET
The shape is very similar to the teardrop with a much more loose down flowing movement to it. The flowers cascade down from the base. Usually this type of bouquet is a little larger than the other styles and less uniform.

ARM SHEAF
Arm sheafs are designed to lie flat into the cove of your elbow. They are a more flat style of bouquet with a backing of greenery. They can be quite small and simple or large and effective depending on the flowers used.

BRIDESMAID FLOWERS
In most cases the bridesmaids flowers are slightly smaller then the brides. They can be in the same style or different, this is personal preference.

Flowergirls
These are slightly smaller than the bridesmaids depending on the age of the girls. Younger flowergirls can also have a basket which is easy for them to carry

Throw away bouquets are a much smaller post of the brides flowers and perfect for the flower girls.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment can be made by Cheque, Money Order or direct deposit. A 20% deposit on all orders is required at time of order with the balance to be paid on collection or prior to delivery. If you need to arrange a payment option to suit your budget we will be happy to discuss this with you.
